Wisconsin entered Northwestern on Saturday averaging 31.1 points per game. And with hopes for a share of the program's first Big Ten title since 1999. And with outside hopes for school's first BCS bowl berth since 1999.
While the Badgers put 31 points on the board in its Big Ten finale at Northwestern—usually a good sign for Bret Bielema's bunch—they fell all the way into a fourth-place tie in the Big Ten and are all but certain to take their sixth bowl trip to Florida in as many years. In the wake of its 33-31 loss to the Wildcats, Wisconsin appears ticketed either to the Outback Bowl or a return to the Champs Sports Bowl.
