Doug Marrone is staying the course and will start Greg Paulus at quarterback for the Orange's final home game against Rutgers.

With the Orange at 3-7 and ineligible for bowl consideration, there is heated discussion among Syracuse fans about whether Marrone should turn the final two games of the season over to redshirt freshman quarterback Ryan Nassib. Marrone left no doubt during his weekly press conference that he's sticking with Paulus, the graduate student and former Duke point guard.

"We're still going out there to win games, not to give people experience for next year," Marrone said. "It's not next year until the last game is over. The way people are getting experience now on this team is through injury."
